Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently visited Corbett National Park in Ramnagar, Nainital, for a thrilling jungle safari experience. Surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant wildlife, CM Dhami explored the forest routes and took in the natural beauty that defines Uttarakhand.

He said the state is committed to promoting jungle tourism in a responsible and sustainable way. "With every step into these forests, tourists connect deeply with nature. That’s the identity of Uttarakhand we want the world to see," he said.

📍 Tourism, Employment & Environment – All in One MoveThe Chief Minister highlighted how jungle safaris are not just a tourist attraction but a boost to local employment and the green economy. More tourists mean more opportunities for local guides, drivers, homestays, and forest-based businesses.

🌱 ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign During the visit, CM Dhami also participated in the state’s emotional green initiative — Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam. Over 1,000 trees were planted with the help of the forest department, local communities, and volunteers. The campaign honors mothers and Mother Nature, blending environmental responsibility with personal sentiment.

💬 “These forests are our pride and future. With the right care and promotion, Uttarakhand’s eco-tourism can inspire the world.” — CM Dhami
