In a heartbreaking incident early Thursday morning, a sudden fire engulfed a residential house in the Gadora village of Uttarkashi. While the residents narrowly escaped with their lives, three cattle trapped inside the structure died due to suffocation.
According to reports, the fire started around 3 a.m. and quickly spread due to wooden structures inside the house. Locals rushed to help and eventually managed to douse the flames before the fire department arrived. However, by then, the shed where the animals were tied had filled with thick smoke, leading to their tragic deaths.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be an electrical short circuit, but an official investigation is still underway. Thankfully, no human injuries were reported, though the family lost both livestock and property.
